At Studio Eummae, I develop a wide variety of Suminagashi prints, each of which are categorized in a particular series defined by a unique selection of paper, which is at the core of every series. From sketch paper, to high quality machine made calligraphy paper, to the finest conservation grade handmade papers and unique papers with beautiful and unusual textures, each series offers a unique combination of color pallets and textures to explore. Every paper is carefully selected, with consideration given to how the ink will interact with the paper, creating a range of tones from more bold colors to light and faded tones to give a more historic feel.

I am continually developing new prints with new types of paper as I go. Current series will be expanded on with new prints available for purchase, and new series will be added, so be sure to check back here or on the Studio Eummae social media pages for new updates and series releases. Select any of the images below to go to the full collection for each series. Each series archive includes every print from the series which has been completed and cataloged. Not every print in every collection is available for purchase, however feel free to reach out at studio@eummae.com to inquire about purchasing a print.
